Welcome to AkSpend ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding any information collected through our Android mobile application.

Unlike traditional financial tools, AkSpend is a fully offline, client-side application. We put your financial privacy first by keeping your personal transactions and configurations strictly localized on your own physical mobile device.

2. Core Privacy Principle: Zero External Servers

Guaranteed Offline Security: We do not run, maintain, or connect to any cloud-based database, tracking dashboard, analytics endpoint, AI API, or storage server. The Android app does not request internet access. Your record sheets, savings targets, categorized budgets, and parsed metrics stay within a sandboxed database (Room/SQLite) built right inside your Android operating system.

3. Local Sensitive Data

To deliver modern features for expense tracking, our application requests access to certain system permissions. Here is how we handle them:

A. Local Notification System

We utilize notifications to alert you of approaching budgets, transaction reminders, and recurring ledger items. These alarms are queued, scheduled, and triggered strictly on the Android OS level.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

Because the application carries zero background telemetry frameworks and has no internet permission, no third-party tracking, profiling networks, analytics agencies, AI providers, or target advertisers receive data about your active budgets, account values, or transaction habits.

5. Data Retention, Backup, and Deletion

Since we do not host, sync, or back up your data on external clouds:

You hold sole ownership and control over your data ledger.
Android cloud backup is disabled for the app, so app data is not automatically synced through device backup services.
Clearing your application cache or deep-uninstalling AkSpend from your device will permanently erase all local transactions, budget metrics, and histories.
Loss of your physical device means the loss of your ledger state, as we cannot restore records remotely.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is safe for all audiences and does not collect any data from children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy over time to reflect any system improvements. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated modification date.
